A lot of Waterford people have a lot of very fond memories of the original production here at the Theatre Royal back in 1985, no pressure then……….
As we reach the half-way point of our run, it’s fair to say that the reaction has been wonderful. Relief! But also the feeling that each night people are now coming expecting - expecting to be whisked back to the Waterford of the 50’s, to laugh, to go on a journey with these characters…………expecting. No pressure then……….Would I tell you a lie?
