How to Book

Theatre Royal accepts bookings in person, by phone, or online.

Phone:: Call our Box Office on 051 874402; You can book your tickets online 24 hours a day at www.theatreroyal.ie and you can even select your seat from an interactive map! Online booking incurs a fee of one Euro per transaction. See below for a step by step guide on how to use the online service;; Call into our Box office, which is located inside the Theatre Royal on The Mall. Payment is accepted by cash (in person only), cheque (with valid cheque card) and by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Laser).Booking by phone or in person incurs no booking fee.

Select which show you would like by clicking "book now"
Select how many seats you would like and which day
You will then need to select which price scale you want (in most cases this will default to the Upper Circle price scale so please remember to select the Stalls/Dress Circle is these are the seats you require)
Select a delivey method - you can either print your own ticket and bring it with you on the night or choose collect at box office
You can let the system pick your seats by clicking "best available" or you can choose your own seats by clicking "choose seats"
You can then pick what level you want (i.e. stalls) and then pick a seat (available seats will be in pink or orange, sold seats will be in white)
Once you have picked you seats click continue and either register an account or skip registration and continue straight to payment screen
If you are paying by Visa you may be asked to verify your card. This is a security feature from Visa, if you have any problems please see the Verified by Visa website

BOX OFFICE OPENING HOURS:

Tuesday - Friday: 10am - 5pm

Saturday: 12pm - 5pm

Closed Sunday and Mondays (Except on performance days when the box office will be open one hour before show begins)

On performance days the box office will open;

Tuesday - Friday: 10am - 8pm

Saturday: 12pm - 8pm

CONCESSIONS

Theatre Royal offers concessions to the following:

Students in full time education
Under 18’s
Senior Citizen – over 65
Carer (when accompanying registered disabled or wheelchair user)
Unwaged

Proof of status for concession seats purchased must be produced when collecting tickets from the Box Office.

ACCESS

Theatre Royal is an accessible venue, with ramp access and adapted toilets. Please tell us when booking if you have any special requirements and we will do our best to facilitate you. Wheelchair spaces in the auditorium must be allocated at the time of booking, as they are limited and are on a first come, first served basis.

LATECOMERS

Latecomers may be admitted at a suitable break in the performance at the discretion of management.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase except in the event of a cancellation by the venue.
