The Bugle Babes – 1940’s Harmony Trio

The Bugle Babes were formed in 2007 by Derby Browne and are a superb 1940's style harmony trio, performing hits from The Andrews Sisters with a cocktail of jazz, swing, jive and lashings of vintage glamour and romance, reminiscent of the days of the wireless.

The ‘Sisters’ Show  is a hand-picked mix of the best toons from Sister acts throughout the forties and fifties, such as: Andrews Sisters, King Sisters, Chordettes and many more.

This trio of pencil-skirted, vintage coiffed, stocking’d ladies perform a magical blend of music and are the icing on the cake at any tea party! Enjoy ‘The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’, ‘In The Mood’, ‘Rum and Coca-cola’ and a 1940’s version of ‘I Will Survive’ and plenty more surprises in the Biscuit Tin!
