Clean Bandit are a global pop phenomenon. They first came to the attention of the UK’s music scene in 2013 with their debut Top 20 hit ‘Mozart’s House’. It was their next single though ‘Rather Be’ in early 2014 which made the whole world sit up and take notice. It was Number 1 in the UK, Ireland and most other European countries and Top 10 in the USA, where it also won the 2014 Grammy for Best Dance Recording. The stats on the track are simply amazing with over half a billion plays on Spotify and the same number of views of the video on YouTube. The band topped this achievement again with recent chart smash ‘Rockabye’, which spent 9 weeks at Number 1 in the UK (including the coveted Christmas Number 1 position). ‘Rockabye’ has had half a billion plays on Spotify to date and a mind blowing 770 million views on Youtube. These type of figures put them at the very top of the world’s pop success table alongside the likes of Drake, Ed Sheeran, Major Lazer and The Chainsmokers. The band currently sit proudly at the top of the Official UK Charts with their third number 1 single ‘Symphony’. As one of the most infectious and dynamic pop groups of the 21st century, Clean Bandit’s fusion of classical strings, electro beats and vintage pop hooks have made them a treasured and adored part of global pop culture.

As a live force, Clean Bandit have been wowing festival audiences over the last few years with high profile slots at Glastonbury, Coachella, Benicassim and T In The Park amongst others. For Summer 2017 they have high profile slots again at Glastonbury and V Festival in England and Vital in Northern Ireland, and now we are delighted to announce that they will be headlining Daytripper on Friday, 25 August as an Irish exclusive, their first Irish show since their ‘Special Guest’ slot with Avicii at a sold out 40,000 capacity Marlay Park in Dublin in 2015.
