Working on the scriptRehearsals got underway this week at the Theatre Royal for the new musical play by Bernard Farrell ‘Wallace, Balfe and Mr Bunn’, which runs from the 2nd to the 14th of November.
The play has been especially written to celebrate the reopening of the newly restored Theatre Royal and features a full cast of actors, soloists, chorus and orchestra! The superb cast includes Darragh Kelly, Sean Campion, Malcolm Adams, Des Manahan, Shauna Farrell and many others.
The play promises to be an evening of music and laughter, when Wallace and Balfe regale us with the exploits of their colourful lives and renew their friendly rivalry. Woven into the play will be a generous selection of the songs that made these composers household names, including the romantic Marble Halls, and Waterford’s favourite: Angels that Around Us Hover.
