Vanessa Whelan is a classically trained operatic soprano whose beautiful flawless voice has captivated audiences throughout Ireland. A winner of many vocal competitions, Feiseana and scholarships Vanessa secured a prestigious scholarship to study voice with the renowned vocal coach Veronica Dunne at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin.
Vanessa achieved huge success in the Voice of Ireland, becoming a finalist and thrilling the judges and thousands of viewers with her flawless performances. Vanessa released a debut single “Who wants to live forever” recorded at Windmill Lane studios and this became a top ten hit. As a result, Vanessa is in great demand throughout Ireland, singing at many high profile concerts and events.
Vanessa has also used her talent to sing for many good causes and charities including The Solas Centre, The National Heart Foundation, The Lyons Club, St Patricks Hospital and MND Ireland. Performing a concert repertoire which spans the spectrum brilliantly from musicals to well-loved melodies, from popular classics to some of the greatest soprano arias Vanessa does it all with class style and an ability to touch the hearts of her audiences.
Dominic was born in Dublin in 1978. He has sung at many Weddings & Concerts since 2001. He is Currently one of 'The Emerald Tenors'. 'He toured with 'Rhythm of the Dance', & Gaelforce Dance singing Irish Ballads. He performed on the 'Holland America' Irish cruise as one of 'The Three Irish Tenors'. Also, Dominic Performed on a Christmas Tour in America as one of "The Three Irish Tenors". He sang for Mary Mc Aleese & President Michael D. Higgins. He performed with 'The Liam O'Connor Show' many times. Dominic has sung in Opera's, Soirees over the years. He regularly performs for 'Project Music Management' (Shane O'Leary) from Waterford and recently performed in Spain in two Soirees. He was on RTE. Radio on the Miriam O'Callaghan, Marty Morrissey and on TV3.He Sings all the time and Loves it. He continues to sing at home and abroad and focuses on Weddings and Concerts 2019, and on. “Dylan is a Waterford-born pianist and a music performance scholar at the UCD Ad Astra Academy. He began his studies in Waterford in 2002, where he began taking piano lessons in the WIT Music School. He was the recipient of the Bridget Doolan Scholarship to WIT Music School in 2009 and went on to enjoy much success in the local feiseanna during this time. Dylan began his studies in RIAM in 2013 with Irish concert pianist Prof. Thérèse Fahy. In the subsequent years, he took first place in the Dorothy Stokes Rosebowl and the Gillian Smith Cup at the RIAM Piano Festival, first place in Feis Ceoil’s Dorothy Stokes Rosebowl for Junior Sonata, first place in the EPTA 5th year competition and second place in both the Esposito Cup and Junior Piano A competitions at the Feis Ceoil. Dylan has given piano recitals at The National Concert Hall, The Hugh Lane Gallery, Christchurch Cathedral Waterford, The O’Brien Centre for Science, Newman University Church and the residence of the Irish Ambassador to Canada in Ottawa. Last April, Dylan took to the stage of The National Concert Hall once again for a sell-out performance of Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the UCD Symphony Orchestra, to great critical acclaim.”
