COVID - 19 UPDATES
Updated COVID information - 2nd September 2021
In line with the Government’s plan for the next and final phase of our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Theatre Royal Waterford has now increased its seating capacity to 60% for all events where all patrons are immune (fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 within previous 6 months), or accompanied minors (under 18), in line with sectoral guidance.
IN ORDER TO ATTEND AN EVENT, YOU AND ALL OF YOUR BOOKING PARTY WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRESENT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING ON ARRIVAL AT THE THEATRE:
An EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC) or the HSE Vaccination Card;
A COVID-19 Certificate that has been issued by non-EU states, which contains confirmation that the person has been vaccinated; the date or dates on which the person was vaccinated; the state body which either delivered the vaccination programme or is authorised to issue the certificate.
An unvaccinated minor (under 18) will be permitted to attend an event in the company of a fully vaccinated parent or guardian.
You will also be asked for photo ID to prove that the EU Digital COVID Certificate, HSE COVID-19 Vaccination Card or other proof of immunity is yours.
Early arrival at the theatre is advised and our bar will be open one hour prior to the event starting.
If you do not have the required COVID-19 documentation AND photo ID on your arrival at the theatre, you will not be admitted and a refund will not apply.
Face coverings are required during your visit to the theatre. To protect ourselves and others, we still need to adhere to all of the public health behaviours that keep us and our loved ones safe, including hand hygiene and physical distancing.
We very much look forward to seeing you at the theatre!
We have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure you can enjoy a safe return trip to the theatre.
