The team at Theatre Royal Waterford are delighted to announce that our Box Office will reopen to the public on Tuesday 28th July. Preparations are well under way to welcome customers back once again with our season of activity kicking off from Thursday 13th August.  All Government Covid19 Return to Work Safety Protocols are in place to ensure that we provide a safe environment for our customers.  Clear guidelines are in place around social distancing and hand sanitisation once you enter our building. These guidelines will be sent with your booking confirmation and are available to review in advance on our website. We look forward to working together to keep customers and staff safe during your Theatre Royal visit.

Launching the summer season will be the award-winning Pat Kinevane’s play BEFORE brought to us by Fishamble (Thursday 13th August) followed by a great selection of comedy and music throughout August and September.

Mary Boland, Theatre Manger said ‘We look forward to welcoming our patrons from the South East and all visitors to the region this summer.  Raising our curtain again would not be possible without the support of all who donated which has helped us to plan for the future and has contributed to our reopening campaign.

We thank the Arts Council, Waterford City & County Council our Friends and Corporate Partners for their continued support.   The Theatre Royal, Ireland’s oldest continually operating Theatre is a registered charity and we depend on the support received from Government, income from Box Office, our Corporate Partners and friends of the Theatre.
